The Gray Divorce Podcast: Episode 47 Life After Gray Divorce - Rebuilding Overseas with Jeff Opdyke

Andrew Hatherley |

Jeff Opdyke is a testament to the sentiment that there is life after divorce

In December 2016, Jeff was divorced at age 50 after a 25-year marriage. Two months later his life was again shaken when he lost his job. As if to prove that bad things come in threes, his grandmother and great-aunt, who had been a big support to him through his divorce, soon passed away within months of each other.

But Jeff’s life got a lot better.

Divorce opened possibilities for him to create a new life for himself, to rebuild his career and finances, to further his dreams of international travel, and to pursue his passion for screenwriting.
